# Jatevo

Jatevo is an open-source AI gateway for teams. Administrators connect provider APIs and private subscription engines; each teammate gets individual keys, permissions, allowances and usage history. The provider credentials remain on the server.

## Start here

1. [Install](install.md) from source, Docker or the macOS installer.
2. Create the owner at `https://jatevo.ai/welcome`.
3. Add a connection under **Connections**, including the exact model IDs it serves.
4. Invite members from **Team** and set their permissions and allowances.
5. Mint a key and use the compatible configuration on **Set up a tool**.
